At 18:47 on Sunday, 2 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Reports of automatic fire alarm activation which proved to be a false alarm due to fumes from microwave oven.
