At 19:32 on Wednesday, 5 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Command Unit was mobilised from Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Report of overheating log burner. Crews carried out both internal and external inspections of the chimney space using a thermal imaging camera and a drone to detect any hot spots.. No hot spots found and inspection carried out only.
