At 20:47 on Wednesday, 5 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Report of smoke and flames visible within cafe. Incident involved a fire in the first floor rear kitchen of a cafe which had spread to the ducting. Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet and one covering jet.
