At 15:22 on Wednesday, 19 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Hedge Fire in B5063, Welshampton .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Fire involving 40 metres of garden hedge, 10 metres of field hedge and 10% of garage roof. Fire crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and thermal imaging camera to extinguish fire.
