At 12:34 on Monday, 31 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ironbridge.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving 1 hollow tree. Crews extinguished using 1 hosereel jet and monitored temperatures using thermal imaging camera.
