At 15:35 on Tuesday, 1 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Hedgerow alight that was out on arrival of Fire Service Personnel. One Hosereel in use to cool area.
