At 07:45 on Thursday, 3 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Request for assistance to lift horse which was unable to get up. On arrival, no action was required by Fire Service Personnel.
