At 08:45 on Wednesday, 9 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 2 vehicles. Police and Ambulance also in attendance.
