At 20:44 on Tuesday, 22 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Bonfire in back garden which had caught to fence panels and tree. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish.
