At 10:04 on Monday, 28 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Prees .

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in third floor boiler room extinguished using four breathing apparatus and two extended hose reels.
