At 17:39 on Thursday, 1 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Incident involved a kitchen fire, crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, 2 breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation
