At 12:47 on Sunday, 11 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Shed Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

This incident involved 10m of conifer hedging and 3 sheds alight. Crews extinguished using 2 hose reel jets, drag rakes and used 1 thermal image camera to check for hotspots.
