At 19:57 on Thursday, 15 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Small fire approximately 1 meter squared involving a green wheelie bin which has now been fully extinguished by crews using a hose reel jet.
