At 10:12 on Sunday, 18 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wellington.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks

Small unattended fire extinguished by crews using knapsacks and fogging unit.
