At 14:42 on Monday, 19 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Dawley.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving a tumble dryer.
