At 00:12 on Saturday, 7 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

This incident involves the remains of a wooden chalet approx 6 x 6m. Crews extinguished using 1 x extended hose reel just and drag rakes to turn over.
