At 13:31 on Tuesday, 24 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ludlow.

Reports of fire in the open which proved to be a bonfire which had spread to trees and hedgerow. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish fire.
