At 12:29 on Thursday, 26 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Prees.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

This incident involved approximately 15 metres square of grass and undergrowth alight, which had spread to an electricity pole. Crews used two hose reel jets and knapsack sprayer to extinguish the fire. National Grid also attending.
