At 13:39 on Friday, 27 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

2 car road traffic collision with reports of 1 rollover with persons trapped. On arrival no persons were found to be trapped. Crews made vehicles safe.
