At 14:28 on Tuesday, 1 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

False alarm raised with good intent due to mould spores/fungi appearing as ash around fallen tree.
