At 17:16 on Tuesday, 1 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Hodnet.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Hodnet.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Incident involving 4m x 2m of grass and shrubbery on fire.
