At 10:06 on Thursday, 3 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Main jet

On arrival crews found lithium iron battery's smouldering, crews submerged the battery's and located them away from the building, advice given to business owner.
