At 15:20 on Monday, 7 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to contractors working on system.
