At 23:23 on Wednesday, 9 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Ludlow.

This incident involved suspected arcing of electric lines causing concern that this may affect nearby trees. Crews dampened down area as a precaution.
