At 19:29 on Monday, 14 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Reports of fire by ford bridge. This incident was a bonfire which was out on arrival of crews. No structural damage to bridge.
