At 00:22 on Tuesday, 15 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a fire consisting of stacked wood, measuring approximately 10 x 10 square metres. Crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish.
