At 08:33 on Friday, 25 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Craven Arms.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service , the Police and Shropshire Council.

One HGV and one hatchback car involved in a collision. Crews assisted in releasing one casualty from the HGV using holmatro gear, cutters, spreaders and small gear. Casualties in care of ambulance crews and Police in also in attendance.
