At 12:51 on Sunday, 27 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Railway Embankment in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

We had reports of a fire near the rail way line. On arrival crews found this to be a controlled burn, crews gave advice to occupiers.
