At 12:22 on Wednesday, 6 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Ludlow.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Ludlow and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

One small dog rescued by crews using 9m ladder. Crews gave advice to owner.
