At 20:35 on Monday, 4 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving one sofa in rear of property. Crews extinguished using a hose reel jet and advice given to occupiers.
