At 14:06 on Tuesday, 5 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving small amount of grass alight which was out on arrival of crews. Crews damped area down as a precaution to ensure no further fire spread. Assistance from Staffordshire Fire Service.
