At 14:19 on Tuesday, 5 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Prees Heath .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Small fire involving wheel of generator. Crews used one hose reel jet and small gear to extinguish.
