At 14:24 on Saturday, 9 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Incident was a campfire left unattended, crews used fogging pumps, beaters and drag rakes to extinguish.
