At 19:25 on Saturday, 9 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance and the Police.

Standing by to assist Police and Ambulance.
