At 18:47 on Monday, 11 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

This incident was a false alarm with good intent which on arrival of crews, turned out to be a controlled burn and no action was required by Fire Service personnel.
