At 03:19 on Sunday, 17 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Craven Arms.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Craven Arms.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved one fence panel together with grass and undergrowth involved in fire. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
