At 12:59 on Wednesday, 20 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Clun.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Clun.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Small discarded bonfire in wooded area, extinguished with 45mm hose and one hose reel jet.
