At 10:59 on Thursday, 21 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Fire involving fuse box located in plant room.
