At 12:51 on Friday, 22 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Rescue From Machinery in Ludlow.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ludlow and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Air bags
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Incident involves one person with arm trapped in engine bay of vehicle. Crews released patient using small tools and stabilising equipment.
