At 09:04 on Monday, 25 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Upper Farmcote, Claverley.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Deep-seated fire involving undergrowth extinguished using lance and drag rakes. Assistance also provided by Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service's Wombourne appliance
