At 15:30 on Monday, 25 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Annscroft, Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving small quantity of rubbish and approximately 30x30m of grassland and hedgerow. Fire extinguished using two hose reel jets and one misting lance.
