At 09:43 on Tuesday, 26 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Field fire involving 2500 square meters of scrub land. Beaters, one extended hose reel jet in use. Water supplemented from Water Carrier.
