At 10:08 on Thursday, 28 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Clun.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of car fire which proved to be steam from empty coolant tank. Crews used thermal imaging camera.
