At 10:17 on Friday, 29 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

One washing machine smoldering in domestic property which was out on arrival. Crews used thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots with no further fire spread found.
