At 18:18 on Monday, 1 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Prees Higher Heath .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Market Drayton and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving upholstery inside caravan. 2 Breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, small tools and thermal imaging camera used to extinguish.
