At 17:42 on Tuesday, 2 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to testing on the system.
