At 15:06 on Monday, 8 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Craven Arms.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Craven Arms.

Fire in grassland and woodland caused by lightning strike. Crews using the fogging units from two Incident Support Units to extinguish the fire.
