At 23:56 on Friday, 12 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Fire involving an air fryer within a kitchen which was out of arrival. Crews ventilated the property.
