At 07:53 on Tuesday, 16 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Incident involving road traffic collision between one tractor and one van. Van fully involved in fire. No persons trapped. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets.
