At 20:31 on Saturday, 27 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be an unattended bonfire that has been extinguished by Fire Service Personnel.
